Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc. announced today that the company’s revolutionary Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR) technology, enabling the visualization of anatomy in motion, will be available on the mKDR Xpress™ Mobile X-ray System.

The “Building Connections Across the Americas: Addressing Access to Radiology” program will center on developing partnerships to advance health equity initiatives across South, Central and North America.

In the June 29 announcement, the ACR revealed CMS said the additional evidence provided to them was “insufficient” to support the reconsideration of their non-coverage decision.

Experts involved in the survey cautioned that the stagnancy of diversification is driving women and minorities away from the field completely, and efforts to change this are missing the mark. 

Editor David Bluemke, MD, PhD, says the journal’s rising impact factor is “representative of the fundamental importance of imaging throughout our hospitals and clinics.”

"Clinical study protocols may involve more than one PET [amyloid-beta] scan per patient,” the CMS announcement said.

These abstracts can be submitted to RSNA starting on July 6, 2022. Submissions will be accepted until August 3 at noon CST. 

The capability could allow immediate alerting of CT technologists, who would adjust scan protocols or re-scan patients to optimize image quality prior to physician interpretation.
