The picket includes nearly 75,000 individuals, among them, ultrasound sonographers, radiologic technologists, home health aides and licensed vocational nurses. 

Under terms of the deal, Cleveland-based University Hospitals will add “hundreds” of new radiology systems across its enterprise.

That’s according to a new single-center analysis from Vanderbilt University Medical Center published in JAMA Health Forum.

Few level 1 trauma centers employ such a position, typically tasked with fielding phone calls from referrers, triaging requests to residents and relaying critical results. 

“After back and forth correspondence, and multiple phone calls, we are thrilled to announce that this campaign was successful,” one of the trade groups said.
