The college announced its opposition to the CDC's B Reader program exploring whether to let nurse practitioners and physician assistants read certain radiographs.
The call to action comes from a poll of over 500 specialists at a single academic institution, published in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

The historic heart procedure was part of a series of operations that saved the lives of three young girls. “The whole situation is extraordinary, whether you look at it from the standpoint of a scientific breakthrough or the average person’s point of view,” one parent said.
The company has already opened its first location in San Mateo, California, with another to follow in New York City, collecting over 1,000 datapoints from 30-plus exams.
