The proportion of women undergoing breast cancer imaging has dropped significantly from the peak seen between 2007 and 2010. 

The American Medical Association has sent its study to thousands of members of the specialty but only received seven responses, ACR says. 

“Rather than working longer and/or faster, there are ways for radiologists to work smarter," researchers wrote in the American Journal of Roentgenology. 

“Our recent strong operating results, successful public offering and upgrade of our corporate credit rating have substantially lowered our leverage and improved our access to capital,” the company's CFO said. 

Hospital group Intermountain hoped to sell Saltzer Health but instead opted to shutter the physician group while retaining its imaging center in Meridian, Idaho.

Findings are based on an analysis of 135 teleradiology malpractice cases and 3,474 more in regular radiology, conducted by Harvard Medical School and published in Radiology.
