The UAB Department of Radiology has selected internationally recognized rad and researcher Mahmud Mossa-Basha, MD, as its next leader following a national search. 

The two recently convened a panel of multidisciplinary stakeholders to discuss this issue, including radiologists, technologists, informaticists and physicists.
