Consulting firm Vizient published its fifth annual imaging trends report, highlighting issues such as staffing, remote scanning, AI, sustainability and "systemness." 

A survey from Doximity paints a complicated picture of physician pay, with 81% saying they are overworked.

Physician compensation in the United States is up 6% compared to the previous year, according to a new report. It only increased by 3.9% in cardiology, however, suggesting the specialty is slightly behind the curve.

An AI-aided way has emerged to confidently select dementia patients who are likely to benefit from amyloid-PET imaging while appropriately de-selecting patients for whom the costly exam would probably be unhelpful.  

In a national poll, more than half of respondents said they were “very concerned” about the cost of medical care, home care, assisted living and prescription drugs. Those concerns outweighed vaccine hesitancy, crime and loneliness.
