The deal is with an unspecified radiology organization spanning multiple states, operating more than 20 sites that handle 2 million-plus medical images per year. 

Announced at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna, the collaboration enables radiologists to utilize DeepHealth OS through Incepto's enterprise imaging platform.

The new collaboration is designed to ensure patients who may face an increased risk of heart disease receive the follow-up care they need.

What was initially identified as “connectivity issues” last week has spiraled into a nine day (and counting) cybersecurity saga for UnitedHealth Group’s Change Healthcare.

Since the issue arose on Feb. 21, providers in radiology and other specialties have experienced “substantial” billing and cash flow disruptions, MGMA reported Wednesday. 

The incident began Wednesday morning, with system update trackers noting “connectivity issues” before later confirming it was in fact a cybersecurity issue.

“Protocol requests” are the most common type of disturbance, University of Iowa researchers detailed in JACR.
