Only 9% of practices list pediatric radiology as a top 3 hiring need, survey finds

U.S. News & World Report children’s hospitals cardiology heart surgery. SCAI said the Accelerating Kids' Access to Care Act would make it easier for children to access pediatric cardiology specialists in neighboring states when none are in their state, or out-of-state doctors are closer.

The results are from the latest American College of Radiology/Radiology Business Management Association Workforce Survey, published in JACR.

‘A huge victory for patient care’: Next-gen TAVR valve helps cardiologists target more patients

Medtronic Evolut FX TAVR valve. Medtronic has received an additional CE mark approval for its Evolut Pro+ and FX transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) valves; they can now be used for redo TAVR in addition to traditional TAVR procedures.

“The Evolut FX system is an improvement over previous Evolut system devices and it delivers better overall results to our patients,” says interventional cardiologist Guilherme Attizzani, MD. “It is an ideal solution for a majority of our patients.”
