US Kettering Health Network selects enterprise imaging from Sectra to increase reading efficiency

Linköping, Sweden and Shelton, CT–International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) announces that its enterprise imaging solution for radiology and digital pathology was ordered by Kettering Health Network (KHN). Sectra will install its solution, integrated with the Epic EMR, throughout KHN to provide a consolidated overview of patient images and information to support increased reading and reporting efficiency.

Veterans Integrated Service Network 19 implements system-wide radiation dose monitoring, with Agfa HealthCare and PACSHealth

Agfa HealthCare announces today that it has collaborated in delivering a system-wide DoseMonitor automated software implementation, integrated with their IMPAX platform, to the Veterans Integrated Service Networks 19 (VISN 19). Contracts for DoseMonitor have already been awarded by VISN 21 and VISN 23.

Medtronic Begins Renal Denervation Study for High Blood Pressure Patients Prescribed Anti-Hypertensive Medication

Medtronic announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to begin a clinical trial to evaluate the Symplicity Spyral renal denervation system in patients with high blood pressure (hypertension) who are already prescribed anti-hypertension medications.
