"Neural networks, such as cycle-consistent generative adversarial network (CycleGAN), are not only able to learn what breast cancer looks like, we have now shown that they can insert these learned characteristics into mammograms of healthy patients or remove cancerous lesions from the image and replace them with normal looking tissue,” said Anton S. Treatment that delivers pulses of energy directly to nerves near the spine is a safe and effective procedure in patients with acute lower back pain, according to research presented Tuesday, Nov. 27, at RSNA 2018 in Chicago. The method may help patients who have not responded to conservative treatments.
