CDC researchers are estimating that asymptomatic COVID-19 carriers account for at least half of all community transmissions. This includes carriers who never develop symptoms as well as those who later do.
“The key for the ultimate adoption of this new procedure will be further refinements of the technology to ensure reliability and safety," University of Virginia Health researchers explained.
The modality also beat out all other tests, including EKG, echocardiograms and clinical exams, at identifying athletes with muscle heart inflammation, experts reported in Circulation.
