Sen. Chunk Schumer has asked the U.S. Food and Drunk Administration (FDA) to investigate the high amount of caffeine found in energy drinks sold by Prime, a beverage brand founded by YouTube personalities Logan Paul and KSI. According to Schumer, the “eye-popping 200 mg of caffeine” found in a single Prime energy drink is troubling, especially for a product marketed primarily to children.

The authors assessed 17 popular energy drinks, sharing their analysis in Food and Chemical Toxicology.

Treating elderly atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients—even those who are traditionally ineligible for direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs)—with a very low dose of edoxaban is associated with improved outcomes, according to new research published in JAMA Network Open.

The study's authors aimed to learn more about an area where clinical evidence was lacking: statin therapy for stroke patients 80 years old and older.
