Novarad Introduces Integrated, Certified RIS/EHR for Meaningful Use
American Fork, Utah, December 2, 2013 – Novarad’s NovaRIS, first certified as an ambulatory EHR module in July 2012, is now fully integrated with a complete, ONC-ATCB certified EHR for ambulatory practice settings. This certified RIS/EHR solution includes all the features and functions necessary for imaging centers and other eligible providers to meet meaningful use (MU) attestation criteria and will continue to do so for every Stage.
Integration between the RIS and EHR streamlines radiology workflow to save time. For imaging centers, the required patient information is captured during the patient scheduling or check-in process and MU audit reports are made accessible through the Reports area of NovaRIS. The RIS remains the primary workflow that triggers the integrated EHR information capture and denominator tracking.
This solution is the newest in Novarad’s Diagnostic Suite that includes more than one dozen products. In addition to PACS and RIS, the suite includes dose monitoring, mammography and ortho viewers, CVIS, performance dashboards, mobile viewers, and a vendor neutral archive (VNA).
